Rev. Jonathan Evans serves as the Associate Pastor of the NextGen Ministry Area. He oversees the young adults, children and youth ministries in this role. As an associate pastor, Pastor Jonathan supports the Senior Pastor in teaching, preaching, training and pastoral care.
The NextGen Ministry prepares the way from one generation to another. Children, youth and young adults are discipled to impact the world around them. Programs and activities not only prepare them to live as Kingdom citizens, but they also become equipped and ready to enter the next level of generational impact.
As a mentor, author, speaker and former NFL fullback, Jonathan treasures his relationship with Christ. He uses his time and talents to impact today’s athletes, men and young adults by equipping and encouraging them in their faith.
Jonathan is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary with a master’s degree in Christian
Leadership. He also serves as the chaplain of the Dallas Cowboys and co-chaplain of the Dallas Mavericks. Jonathan is a dynamic speaker at churches, conferences, banquets, youth and men’s events. He is committed to developing the next generation of devoted Christian leaders.
Jonathan and his wife Kanika are the proud parents of Kelsey, Jonathan II, Kamden, Kylar and Jade Wynter. They reside in Dallas, Texas.
