Perform tasks related to store operation as assigned by the Resale Store Supervisor.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- The professional staff at Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship have distinct roles that directly or indirectly affect the spiritual development of church members. - Maintain good customer relations by providing prompt, courteous assistance to customers.
- Answer customer’s questions concerning location, price, and use of merchandise.
- Maintain solid product knowledge of all merchandise.
- Conduct accurate sales transactions; total price and tax on merchandise purchased by customer to determine bill; accept payment and make change.
- Complete daily cash logs at the beginning and end of shift to record the amount of cash in register.
- Calculate sale discount to determine price.
- Bag, box, or wrap merchandise for customers at the end of each transaction.
- Assist in processing and replenishing donations; participate in receiving and monitoring floor stock.
- Stock shelves, counters, racks and tables with merchandise and maintain their presentation.
- Set up advertising displays or arranges merchandise on counters or tables to promote sales.
- Obtain merchandise requested by customer or receive merchandise selected by customer.
- Provide a clean, neat, and safe work environment.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with computerized inventory system and Point of Sale is required. Must be able to work most Saturdays and available during the week.
