Ministry Area: Golf Club of Dallas (GCD)

Responsible for providing exceptional service and support to clients during the event planning and execution process.

Ministerial Exemption

  • The professional staff at Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship have distinct roles that directly or indirectly affect the spiritual development of church members. Each employee must model Christian values in daily interactions and uphold the church’s core values. You must be actively involved in staff meetings Bible studies, and support the church’s mission to influence and serve the broader community through active involvement in church functions
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries and assist throughout the event planning process, ensuring clear communication and exceptional service.
  • Return calls and emails in a timely and professional manner, addressing client questions, meeting needs, and scheduling appropriate follow-ups.
  • Conduct tours of The Golf Club of Dallas facilities for prospective clients, highlighting venue features and customizing event options to meet client expectations.
  • Assist event staff, including food service associates and bussers, to ensure service standards are met and events run smoothly.
  • Perform data entry in Microsoft Office and event management software to organize event details, maintain client information, and record updates.
  • Process client deposits for event bookings and track payments throughout the planning process.
  • Follow up with clients post-event to gather feedback and maintain positive relationships for future bookings.
  • Develop and maintain a calendar of upcoming events, ensuring proper scheduling and avoiding conflicts with other club activities.
  • Attend pre-event meetings with clients and internal staff to review final details and ensure expectations are aligned.
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of event spaces to ensure readiness and proper clean-up post-event.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required. A minimum of 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in event planning or hospitality. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook, for managing event documents and communication. Familiarity with event management software such as EventPro360 or similar systems is preferred but not required.

Other Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of the game of golf, rules of golf, golf facility operations, and tournament operations.
    Strong leadership skills.
