Implement and manage The Turn Around Agenda’s 360 Program by building and refining relationships with participating public schools.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

This position is responsible for providing prayer, spiritual assistance, and ministerial support to co-workers, youth, parents, and others they contact while working. This includes but is not limited to being available to pray with youth, leading and participating in youth bible studies, conveying Biblical principles during staff meetings and church activities, and knowing and ensuring that the church’s mission and vision are integrated into all aspects of the department’s task. As the Employee Handbook outlines, all staff must live a life that models the church’s core values. To further the church’s mission of disciplining the church to impact the world, they must be involved in spiritual discipleship while performing the essential job requirements.
  • Work with partnering community agencies, our TECS (Technology, Education, Career Services), and Client Services Coordinator for problem identification, referrals, crisis intervention, and resolution plans.
  • Assist students with improvement plans to increase efficiency and productivity that will lead to better academic and familial outcomes.
  • advertise the TTA 360 program through various outlets, i.e., selected public-school partners and community, as well as through assemblies, workshops, and various marketing means.
  • Build and cultivate a successful relationship with referred staff, students, and their families at the high school, middle school, and elementary levels for problem identification, referrals, crisis intervention, and resolution plans.
  • Oversee the coordination of engagement with the 360 program for the public school community regarding food, clothing, shelter, housing, and pregnancy needs.
  • Market the TTA 360 program to the public school community and our select school partners through assemblies, workshops, and various marketing materials.
  • Provide information to the public school community regarding The Turn Around Agenda offices, including updates and changes to program delivery.
  • Participate in conferences, workshops, meetings, etc., for the purpose of professional development and dissemination of best practices to staff and kingdom servants.
  • Conduct periodic school assemblies and participate/conduct special events on campus highlighting the TTA 360 program.
  • Collaborate with the PSO Director to plan and implement annual projects and events to provide support to public school families in need.
  • Plan and implement seminars and workshops with TECS Coordinator to assist public school families with financial literacy, educational development and career services.
  • Work in partnership with PSO’s evaluation system to incorporate and manage necessary data collection, analysis, and communication of results.
  • Collect and submit weekly reports of client activities, enrollment, information dissemination, and community-based processes for the purpose of tracking, evaluation, and grant reporting to the Director of PSO.
  • Create procedures, processes, and forms for TTA programs using software and systems that connect services and program usage to achieve total service integration..
  • Ensure absolute confidentiality regarding staff, student, and family information records.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling or related field or a combination of education and experience. The successful candidate will demonstrate knowledge of community resources and experience and skill in working directly with children, youth, parents, and community groups
